Rocket Pop Patriotic Decor

Celebrate summer with paper rocket pops and American flag décor made with ASTROBRIGHTS® Papers in bright patriotic colors!

I hand-drew my rocket pops design to have an illustrated, handmade feel, and I’m providing my printable templates in two sizes: small rocket pops for cupcake toppers and large rocket pops for garland. I also designed a coordinating easy, deconstructed American flag banner with hand-drawn stars. Be sure to cut out lots of extra stars to decorate cupcake stands and tables to help your family celebrate all the patriotic holidays: Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and even summer birthdays.

Rocket Pops Cupcake Toppers

Supplies:

• Kathy’s Rocket Pops template in small
• Astrobrights Papers in Lunar Blue™, Neenah® Bright White, and Re-Entry Red™
• Paper scissors
• Wooden coffee stirrers
• School glue

   

  Step 1: Print my rocket pops cupcake toppers templates onto Astrobrights Papers and cut out.

   

  Step 2: Glue the red and blue pieces onto the white rocket pop.

   

  Step 3: Cut a wooden coffee stirrer in half. Glue the stirrer to the back of the paper topper and let dry completely.

   

  Step 4: Place toppers into cupcakes and serve.

  Stars Cupcake Stand

   

  Supplies:

• ●Kathy’s stars template in small and big
• ●Astrobrights Papers in Blast-Off Blue™, Lunar Blue™, Bright White, and Re-Entry Red™
• ●Paper scissors or optional paper cutting machine
• ●Tape
• ●Cupcake stand

   

  Step 1: Print stars onto Astrobrights Papers.

   

  Step 2: Cut out stars using scissors.

   

  Step 3: Tape stars to the top of the cupcake stand.

  Rocket Pops garland

   

  Supplies:

• ●Kathy’s Rocket Pop template in large and stars template
• ●Astrobrights Papers in Lunar Blue™, Bright White, and Re-Entry Red™
• ●Paper scissors
• ●Ribbon or string
• ●1/8” hole punch
• ●Wide popsicle sticks
• ●School glue
• ●Tape

   

  Step 1: Follow the rocket pop cupcake toppers instructions above to make large rocket pops.

   

  Step 2: Cut out stars using scissors.

   

  Step 3: Punch holes in the star corners. For the rocket pops, you can either punch holes like the stars or simply tape directly to the string.

   

  Step 4: String banner together and hang.

  Deconstructed Flag Banner

   

  Supplies:

• ●Kathy’s flag banner and big stars templates
• ●Astrobrights Papers in Blast-Off Blue™, Bright White, and Re-Entry Red™
• ●Paper scissors
• ●Ribbon or string
• ●1/8” hole punch
• ●School glue

Step 1: Print my flag banner and stars templates onto Astrobrights Papers and cut out.

Step 2: Glue stars onto the blue banner pieces.

Step 3: Punch holes in the banner corners.

Step 4: String banner together and hang.
